Whereas it was possible to install Office up to three computers before (depending on the edition), a license is now bound to a single computer only. Starting with the 2013 version, Microsoft Office has brought some considerable changes.
The only Office Trial version currently available is Office 365. Unbelievable, but Microsoft has not yet started giving out trial versions for Office 2016.
Finally, we were able to dig out some offline installers, although, these downloads are merely images of the backup media downloads, based on the click-to-run technology. Microsoft focuses entirely on distribution with online installers, and makes it extremely hard to find usable disk images for offline installation. Office 2016 is the latest version in the Microsoft Office family.
