The NVMe SSD is a 256GB which is decidedly on the smaller side, after windows and office installations your under 200GB indeed keep that in thinker.
Lenovo claims this slot can entirely support up to 8GB so upgrade at your own discretion … my guess would be you could put a 16gb stick in and have 20gb RAM but I didnt test it, however the i5 can support up to 64gb so it would matter if the motherboard can support more then 8gb in the slot, the CPU will. That being said, 4GB of the 12GB RAM is soldered to the motherboard, with the early 8GB being obliterable in a SODIMM slot. broadly laptops at this price have lower RAM which makes it one of the contributing factors to slowing down after a few years, but with 12GB DDR4 it should be all right. Its debauched, has a solid Intel i5 10th gen central processing unit which is enough for everyday tasks, and 12GB RAM which is bang-up moving forward. This personal computer does come with Windows 10 in S-mode, which is credibly a good thing for most kids getting a laptop at this monetary value ( one imagine this is quite a popular College/Highschool laptop or exercise from home ) but can easily be upgraded to normal Windows 10 Home. She was absolutely ecstatic with this as a gift, she couldnt be happier. Nothing crazy, but recently her laptop break so she needed a successor. She doesnt use her laptop for anything demand, shes retired and uses it for watching things on-line, playing some games, crop, Microsoft Office, electronic mail and download books for her e-reader. My wife and I purchased this for my mother in police for a Christmas giving and she could not be happier.
